Zucca Rotondo Pumpkin
Zucca Rotondo is a new variety for me. This is the first year I've ever seen this interesting pumpkin. There's also not a lot of information on this variety. I did read that it's an Italian pumpkin with deep ridges. It's used for decoration only. So maybe closer to a gourd? It boasts a light orange-yellow skin with green mottling. This specific specimen is more on the orange side and a bit tall for a Zucca Rotondo. We picked it because it was unique from other's at the farm stand of the same kind.
