Planting Trees, In Honor of Arbor Day

Today we bought our vegetable plants at Wo-Jos nursery, along with two grape vines and 2 red raspberry plants. Also, in honor of Arbror day which was April 30th we planted 4 trees that we purchsed from a beautiful, family owned nursery called Candy Cane Tree Farm. (Ceddie helped with the digging)
The owners of Candy Cane Tree Farm operate out of their home and are some of the nicest people you'll ever meet. Starting April 15th the they start selling multiple trees out of their garage for under $10. We purchased 4 trees. 3 White Pines and 1 Concolour (shown left) which is a conifer that smells like tangerines and pine. It is amazing! We also picked up our Speckled Sussex chick from Hamiltons of Ortonville. She has a bright yellow chest. More yellow than I've ever seen in a chick.
