Creating a Skein

Whether you use a Knitty Knotty or a skeiner to loop the yarn, the process of making a skein is the same. Remove the yarn from the device/holder.

The skeiner wheel lifts off so you can get the yarn off completely.

Then hold the length of yarn wide in your hands.

Then begin twisting.

Twist and twist until it's fairly tight.

When you bring your arms together, the yarn will want to naturally coil up on itself.

To secure the twist, slip one loop through the other.
